OUR WORKSHOPS

As part of our newly launched major project, Advancing Public Trust in Local Food, funded by the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador through the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development (JGRD), we are partnering with local community leaders and organizations to present a wide range of food skills workshops throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Introduction to Foraging

Food Preserving Workshop

Oct. 6, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM NDT

St. John's Farmers' Market

This workshop will teach you how to preserve and store food and cover drying, salting, freezing, fermenting, canning, pickling and root cellars.
