Growing grain may seem a bit out of reach for home gardeners and even medium scale growers in our cold climate, but with the right soil preparation, techniques and tools, even a twenty-by-fifty-foot garden plot can grow grain if you select the right varieties of wheat, oats, millet and other grains, that we usually buy in the form of meal or flour.
