Mobile Goat Homestead: Steve & Lisa McBride’s Journey to Self-Sufficiency in NL

Steve & Lisa McBride live on their 'Mobile Goat' homestead near Mobile, NL, where they are working towards self-sufficiency and producing their food from start to finish. In addition to a large garden, they forage for wild local edibles, keep honeybees, and live with a variety of food-producing animals. Steve and Lisa (and the goats) are also the wonderful hosts of Backyard Farming and Homesteading NL on Facebook, a community that currently has 31,000 members, including more than 20,000 Newfoundland and Labrador residents! Steve is an authority on cheesemaking and Roman coinage and history.
